Individual life for citizens is diverse, for many different jobs are taken up by those living in the castle. Jobs are anything from guards, stay at home parents, farmers, healers, musicians, mages, cleaners, cooks, hunters, and many more. Contrary to typical medival societies, citizens are not bound to a class system and only take up farming if they want to, rather than to merely survive. There is no class structure- and the only ranks are ones for the sake of militairy rather than hierarcy and control. While you will not be punished if you do not work, those who do not contribute are usually shunned and looked down upon for not contributing to the wellbeing of all. Children attend a school and may take their education home. Education is continued on until a now older young adult finds their desired line of work, and after they make their decision, they will either go on to begin their new career and recieve further education if their job requires so, if they choose to be a doctor or a mage, for example. Workers usually retire when they are 65, and are allowed to continue on if they choose. Pregnant people will have time off to care for themselves and their coming baby. If a mother does not want their child, their child will be taken to the orphanage when they are still an egg. Anyone can adopt as long as they are deemed able to and fit to be a parent. Leisure is encouraged in Palace Issen. Sports in magic are common, citizens do not work long hours and the arts are celebrated. Paintings cover many castle walls and music can be always heard from some parts of the castle. Palace Issen is protected by dense forest, and backs into a nearby mountain. A river nearby and various wells are the water source for Palace Issen.
