This dream was one that happened while I was aware that the concept was a TV show. I begin the dream by staring at the TV screen one boring, dark night, saying to myself, "This looks like an interesting series to watch." As soon as I press play on my remote, I am instantly pulled into the screen and into the colorful and dangerous world of the show. I wake up in the evening outside of some sort of club or house, and pick myself up from the street on that warm, summer night. The air is fresh, costal, and full of life which I cannot figure out. I am the main character of the show, I soon discover. I am going to my friend's house right before the pride parade. My friend Natalie is performing their escape act in their oceanside home, and was challenging others to beat them in it. I spend too long watching my friend do this act and discover that I missed the pride parade. June was in full glory at that point, and our time had come to be proud and show our true colors to the world. I had missed this event that I had waited so long to go to... I had even brought my flag with me to my friend's house expecting just to drop in. I rush out from their home, cutting the exhibit short, only to find that the rainbow concrete on the street and on the pavement was being covered up by gray. Our colors were being washed away by normalcy and an evil envy from those who did not belong with us. I am overcome by a feeling of disappointment, which is quickly replaced by anger. I see the painter's truck bearing a symbol that I know. A colorful bumper sticker of blue and green hues, with parallel lines twisting about to form the word 'Lem'. I had known that an election was going on in the recent times, and that someone had won it. This new governor is named William, although he goes by the name Lem on bumper stickers and in news articles. Lem is no good man- he is power hungry and seeks to grab every bit of power and control over the minds of his people that he could. But the way he plans to seize power is violent and distructive- through the use of huge mechs that are powered by magic gemstones, each a color of the rainbow. He already has one of these gemstones, and proudly shows it off during shows and speeches. His plans are already in motion. My world is turned upside down as an elderly, anthropomorphic ram woman approaches me in my sleep and takes me to an underground base of hers. She tells me in a slow, calm voice that Lem is going to snuff out any chance of our freedom if he manages to get his hands on every single crystal in the rainbow. These crystals are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink. The ram posesses the only other known crystal, the pink one, and has mastery over her mech. She tells me that I must go out on a journey to find the remaining crystals to prevent Lem from using them to raise an army of deadly mechs of every color. In the closing scene, the pink and red mechs streak through the sky, trying to defeat one another, their streaks of bright light trailing behind them in their respective, brilliant color. I trail behind on my hoverboard, soaring through the sky.
I then am sucked right out of the screen and back into my chair, and I say, "Hm. That looks like an interesting show."
